Day 4: JHOSH

I skipped over Friday's events, but to recap quickly I had a turkey, avocado, bean sprouts, tomato, carrot and cucumber sandwich on wheat bread at work. Then I went over to my girlfriend's apartment with my boyfriend, my sister, my best friend and a few others for a pot luck. I had a few chips with salsa, a small bowl of pasta with chicken, a small bowl of homemade vegetable soup, some fruit and a couple cookies. We ended up going out to a bar and I had about two drinks total.

All of my favorite people out in Clarendon.
My "little" (she's taller than me) sister and I.

Today I woke up late and headed straight to my noon pilates reformer class. My boyfriend and I take weekly reformer classes at Thrive Pilates in Shirlington. We had a great hour-long workout to start the day.

Since I woke up late I didn't have time to eat breakfast. The boyfriend and I debated grabbing brunch to make up for it, but decided on Thai food instead. We dined at T.H.A.I. in Shirlington and ended up splitting our two meals. I had a little bit of the drunken noodles and a little bit of the panang curry with rice.

After lunch we headed to Pentagon City to check out Sephora and DSW. The Sephora shopping trip was extremely successful, but unfortunately I didn't find any summer sandals that I liked at DSW. We ended up stopping at Dunkin Donuts on the way home from the mall because I had a craving for one of their new frozen hot chocolates. It didn't live up to the frozen hot chocolate of my dreams from co co. sala, so I only drank about half of the small size.

Once we got home we had to hurry and get ready for the JHOSH show! My boyfriend and I loved all of the performances. The show really got me motivated for this summer challenge and it also got my boyfriend thinking about taking a DhoonyaFIT class. I think he'd be so great at it (he secretly loves to dance) and he loves the Bollywood music, so it's a perfect fit!

After the show we headed to Cafe Bonaparte in Georgetown for dinner. I started off my meal with a French 75, a cocktail containing Bombay Sapphire gin, lemon juice and champagne. It was very strong, so I ended up drinking 3/4 of it. My boyfriend got french onion soup for an appetizer, so I got to enjoy a few bites of that. For dinner I had the moules frites (mussels and fries) and enjoyed about 1/2 of the fries and almost all of the mussels (the boyfriend got several to sample). I didn't feel like dessert since I had already had the frozen hot chocolate earlier, so I had about a 1/4 of a decaf cappuccino and had one bite of my boyfriend's fruit-filled crepe.

My French 75 cocktail and my boyfriend's beer.
My boyfriend's French onion soup that I stole a few bites of.
 My delicious humongous mussels.
My cappuccino and my boyfriend's crepe and espresso.
 Happy boyfriend.
The outside of the cute cafe.
