Day 33-34: 4th of July

I had a fabulous long weekend! It was filled with friends, food, baseball and the pool! The eats weren't the healthiest, but they were delicious! Ready to get back into the swing of "healthy" living tomorrow.

Day 31-32: Beginning of July!

I don't know about everyone else, but I cannot believe it's already July! June went by way too quickly. The first two days of July have been wonderful. I had 365 Frosted Shredded Wheat cereal for breakfast both days. On Friday I was treated to lunch at Charlie Palmers by one of my wonderful bosses. I enjoyed a few pieces of kalamata olive bread and butter and a filet mignon salad. So delicious! After lunch my co-worker and I were still hungry (for some odd reason filet mignon was not enough for either of us!) so we picked up some candy at the convenient store. I got a bag of mini reese's cups. After work I met the boyfriend in Clarendon. The Sinplicity truck was outside the Container Store, so we shared a delicious ice cream sandwich! After a quick shopping trip we headed home where I promptly fell asleep. I was so exhausted on Friday night!
I went to get my hair done Saturday morning (after my bowl of cereal) and swung by the Bayou Bakery on my way home. The boyfriend got hibiscus tea that I had a few sips of and I had a watermelon feta salad. We also split a "snowball" which is shaved ice with syrup and a little bit of sweetened condensed milk.
At around 4 o'clock I made some whole wheat pasta with tomato basil sauce. Then later in the evening we ventured out into Clarendon. We stopped at Cava's welcoming party and had a few bites of Spanakopita and a few sips of a delicious limeade. Then we went to Circa and I had a watermelon cooler cocktail. The boyfriend and I split an order of mussels and I stole several bites of the boyfriend's steak and frites. Now the boyfriend and I are watching Blue Valentine and getting ready to head to the beach tomorrow!!
